ミャンマーの仏様は、電飾を使いまくりでした。
常にクイズ番組で正解した状態になっている。
Buddha statues in Burma are decorated with a lot of Christmas lights.
It looks like he is in quiz show and has given a correct answer.

この電飾達が、中央から外側に広がったり、消えたりついたり、ぐるぐる回ったりします。
「神聖」って何だったっけ？「宗教」ってどこへ向かっているの？と思ってしまいました。
The lights move outward from the center, flashes and moves around.
It makes me wonder about what sacredness is, and where the religion goes.

I would say that they run the business not on a small property but rather on the wall.

ヤンゴン市内を走る鉄道環状線。
（僕も含め）ぶらさがったまま乗ってたら危ないと思うかもしれませんが、
悲しいかな、落ちても死亡するほどスピードが出てないんだな･･･。
Railway in Yangon city.
You might think it is dangerous to ride on train like them (including me).
However, sadly the train moves too slow to die.

扉が初めからなかったのはこの国が初めてです。
 It's inside a train, plane simple!
I saw many trains in many countries that had doors that never cleses,
but this train does not even have doors.

頼もしそうな鉄道警察。車内に必ず同乗してくれるようだ。
しかし腰に装着している装備の一つが、なんとパチンコだった！
The railway police. They ride on a train to protect passengers.
But one of the weapons around his waist is a slingshot !

ミャンマーの女性と子供は皆この「タナカ」という化粧兼日焼け止めの白い粉を顔に塗りたくっています。
失礼、塗っています。
塗り方によって美人とかあるらしいですが、僕には全然わかりません。
Women and children (boys and girls) in Burma paints "Tanaka" on thier faces.
Tanaka is cosmetic sun-block cream.
You could look more beautiful depending on how you paint it.
But I don't know what makes the difference at all...

ミャンマーでは、こんなオシャレな感じの女性はほとんど見かけませんでした。
しかしこの女性も、トラクターの通過で砂埃にまみれてしまい、
こんな環境でもオシャレを続けれる人がいたら、尊敬するなぁ、と思いました。
I saw only a few women dressed in style like her.
She got dusted with road grime because of a tracter passing through.
I would respect if someone dresses up everyday even in such dusty environment.
